St Francis of Assisi Feast Day Mass 6th October 2019 (YEAR C)

Over this weekend, we are celebrating the gift that St Francis of Assisi has been to the world and to us in particular in this parish that has been under the care of the Franciscan Friars and Sisters for the past 90 years. St Francis of Assisi is without doubt one of the great figures of our Catholic family, but more than that, he has been a model for the world since even those who have had little or nothing to do with the Christian faith seem to have found in him a source of inspiration and challenge.
