Listed below are a number of policies, plans and procedures that underpin all activities here at St Therese, to provide a safe environment to work, worship and participate in the community. These policies aim to maintain the safety of staff, worshipers and all other visitors to the church and surrounds.

Work Health & Safety Policy

This is a policy that outlines how the Parish shall be provide a safe and healthy environment. Also included is a comprehensive checklist used to ensure Work Health and Safety practices are maintained.

Accident/Incident Procedure

Kedron Catholic Parish has a policy to report incidents and accidents that occur in the surrounds. This procedure details when to report an accident/incident and what information needs to be recorded.

Smoking Policy

In accordance with Queensland Government regulations, there is a total ban on smoking on all Church precincts. The ban affects all buildings including the Church, the Parish Hall, car parks and all Church and Hall grounds.

Fire and Emergency Procedures

These procedures details the steps to take in the event of a fire or emergency and includes a map of the evacuation assembly area.

Incident Action Plan

The plan assists you in the event of an incident. When in doubt call 000.

Child and Youth Management Strategy

The purpose of these strategies are to ensure organisations have appropriate policies and procedures in place to identify and minimise the risk of harm to child and young people. The Parish falls into the group of regulated service environments. The strategies cover Blue Cards and compliance, recruitment and employment, breaches of trust and disclosures of harm.
